Canon 10-22 Lens Optical Construction

The Canon 10-22 Lens is a first rate design. This lenshas extremely little distortion and whatever is present, can be easily corrected in PhotoShop CS2. The optical construction of the Canon 10-22 lens has been designed along the lines of the L-series, even though this lens is not designated as being in this series. A number of Canon’s non L-series lenses come across as being cheap, but the Canon 10-22mm is most definitely not one of these, being solid and particularly well built. This very easy to use lens gives the user ultra wide-angle coverage, as its optics were designed from the ground-up for digital SLR use. This lens is Canon’s widest zoom lens and has similar optical construction to the EF “L” series, as it is manufactured with super low dispersion, of very high quality. The salesperson informed me that this lens can not easily be beaten for the quality of its optical construction, which is the main reason why a photographer will purchase a lens.
