Film Reviews – Crazy, Stupid, Love

One of the latest movies, which has received mixed film reviews in the last couple of weeks is ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’, a film where it is best not to dwell too much on the internal logic of it. If you’re looking for originality then this probably isn’t the best film to see, as it’s about as predictable as a vodka martini (shaken, not stirred) in a James Bond film. Ryan Gosling plays the role of playboy, Jacob who makes a habit of bedding ladies before abandoning them. He meets Cal (played by Steve Carell) in a bar and discovers that he’s a family man whose wife is having an affair with a co-worker and wants a divorce. Will Jacob convince Cal to have sex without love?
