I was at the Landmark Supermarket the other day doing my usual grocery shopping. Since I was too tired to cook at home (yes, I cook.), I just decided to grab dinner at Chinois Superbowl at the Landmark Food Court.
Even though It was still early in the evening, a lot of people were lined up at Chinois' food stall. Just by looking at the patrons all lined up made me wonder about Chinois' food. Masarap siguro.
I noticed that they only cook the food once it has been ordered. Their cook must really be busy during meal times because the people does not seem to stop lining up for Chinois' good dishes.
The Soy Chicken was one of the nicest Soy Chicken meals I had. The grated ginger added flavor to the chicken. The BBQ Liempo, on the other hand, was tender and has that nice marinade that tasted like a true blue home cooking/barbeque. By the way, all meals come with a regular-sized soda.
The cost? ...Php152.00. Good for 2 people.
For it's price and taste, I wasn't surprised about the long queue.
Steaming Chinois Superbowl is located at the Landmark Food Court, Ayala Center, Makati City.

you do not know anything about food. i am a chef, and have eaten at chinois. the food is DRY and definitely overcooked. The grated ginger overpowers everything else on the plate , which does not speak of a great dinner. you can also taste the MSG (VETSIN) in all the dishes, only if you do not have a palette like a pig's backside.
get a life and start doing something else because you have no right to do food reviews.

@Jojo Akuin: he never trumpeted that he was a culinary genius, dumbass. All he's trying to do is feature inexpensive meals on his blog and share his views on them. Taste is a matter of preference -- what's good for him may not be good for you, and vice versa. Don't impose on him what tastes good or not because you don't have the same tongues!
His points are more authoritative any day compared to your baseless nonsense.

*correction: I guess he/she, whichever applies to this blog's author. I'm assuming based on the individual on the banner. Hehe.

Nice comments friends. I guess the truth about good food will always come out.
Here is a factoid for all. The owner of Chinois are the parents of the owner of Steak Escape and they are related to the owners of Sizzling Plate and Pinoy Toppings.
If you will see there is a common thread, they all strive to give us good tasting food at affordable prices.
