I was walking along the stretch of Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City the other day, when I caught sight of these delicious green mangoes exposed for everyone to see. My mouth suddenly watered like crazy that i had no choice but to stop in front of the mango vendor and buy one nice piece.
I like my mangoes green and very very sour.
Very sour. Very nice.
I like eating my green mangoes with rock salt too, with lots of red & green chili peppers.
The cost? ...Php15.00/piece. Rock salt for free.
Aren't you salivating yet?
I love eating green mangoes from time to time. I like it best with bagoong.

Oh yum. I miss those sliced cheeks of green mangoes back my high school days. They're in these large glass containers and the manong has two choices for the bagoong. One is kind of sweet and the other spicy. Both are sticky like molasses. sarap!

I remember the last time I ate Indian Mangoes! It was the day that I finally found Indian Mangoes being sold once again at Taft Avenue. My bf laughed at me while I was staring at the cart of the vendor across the street as I try to figure out, "Are those Indian Mangoes?" :O Lol. xD
