LIPTON MILK TEA

I'm not much of a tea lover.  Whenever I drink tea, I'd like to put milk and/or chocolate in my mix to make it more inviting to my taste buds.  That's why I was so glad to have found Lipton Milk Tea.  It comes in 3 variants- Original, Gold and Vanilla.



For me to actually know what makes one different from the other flavors, I got myself a box of each variant and tried them myself.

CHUCK'S STEAK & CHOPS

One fine day, I just found myself in the middle of The Landmark's Food Court in Makati City looking for nice meals with 'tipid' prices.  Even though McDonald's, KFC and Jollibee have stalls in the food court and within my reach, I decided to give Chuck's Steak & Chops a try.

GETTIN' CHIGGY'S WITH IT

I was about to go home when my friends dragged me to this newly-opened local food house just near Bacolod Chk-N-BBQ House.  They excitedly told me that this food house not only offers 'tipid' meals but delicious dishes too.  Since they already got me curious about this food joint, I allowed them to drag me over to Chiggy's.

Chiggy's bestseller is their Jumbo Liempo.  So I went ahead and ordered the meal set.

I WAS WITH TWO ICE MONSTERS

I know it's been raining for weeks now and i know it's best to stay indoors and keep ourselves warm.  Well, I stayed indoors alright but didn't keep myself warm.  Instead, I bought goodies from Ice Monster to feel the chill.

GOURMET'S PALATE

My friends and I went to BF Homes Paranaque to find a good place to eat.  Since it was about 2 o'clock in the morning, it wasn't easy to find a place that's open for 24 hours.  Initially, we thought of SEx but my friend suddenly remembered going to a 24-hour food joint inside BF.  So, we went to Gourmet's Palate.

Too bad, they ran out of their specialty... Burgers.  Well, we ordered Shawarma and other dishes instead.

REYES BARBEQUE

The first time I went to Reyes Barbeque, I wasn't too happy with the size of their Pork Barbeque.  I guess I got used to Ineng's portion size.  But when I walked pass the stall of Reyes Barbeque in Glorietta 4, I decided to try their other grilled offerings.  So I lined up and got some grilled goodies.

GOYA BLACK & WHITE

After trying out Goya's Dark Mint, I saw another version and this time it's a combination of dark and white chocolate.  Introducing Goya Black & White.

THE ORIGINAL RAZON'S OF GUAGUA

A lot of people think that Greenbelt in Makati City is synonymous to expensive. Well, I must admit that they have restaurants that can make you spend three thousand pesos for their food but I'd still say that the place still offers affordable meals and for me, finding 'tipid' meals in Greenbelt is always a challenge. Good thing I found The Original Razon's of Guagua.

At first, I thought they are only serving Halo-halo because almost all their patrons were having one. But when I checked out their menu, I discovered that there is more to Razon's than their Halo-halo and Palabok.

MONGOLIAN QUICK-STOP

I was back in Waltermart finishing some errands.  Since I was already at the mall, I decided to grab lunch at Mongolian Quick-Stop.  I didn't go for the buffet since it was a bit pricey (around Php200++) plus I know I wouldn't able to come back for another bowl.  After ordering, I went to have a seat and waited for the food to arrive.

ORIGIN COFFEE

There's this coffee shop near my office building called Origin Coffee.  A co-worker told me once not to try their coffee because it doesn't taste good.  I know my co-worker thought he could save me from bad coffee but he didn't realize that it made me more curious about Origin Coffee.  So one day, I went and dragged my friend with me.  We ordered their Beef Carbonara and their Chocolate Frap.

I MET THE KARATE KID

Dropped by Waltermart again and this time I went to check out this Japanese Fast Food named Karate Kid.  I want to revive my faith in Japanese Fast Food since my last experience with Japok! wasn't pleasant at all.  As soon as I entered the store, I instantly liked the bright, cool and friendly atmosphere.  I went directly to the cashier and ordered away.

TSOKO.NUT BATIROL

I was at Waltermart in Makati doing some errands.  Since I was already at the mall, I tried to find a place to get good coffee.  Well, there's Starbucks at the ground floor of the building but too bad I'm not a Starbucks fan.  I went to the 2nd level and found Tsoko.Nut.  When I saw that they offer more than chocolates and coffee, I decided to dine there too.

The cashier told me that their bestseller is the Pinaksiw na Pata.  So I took her word for it and ordered the dish.

I WAS AT WENDY'S

After watching Iron Man in this expensive movie house, I want to get an inexpensive but satisfying meal.  Since I do not want to leave the building, I just thought of finding a nice place to grab late dinner.  That's when I found Wendy's Hamburgers.

I used to frequent Wendy's way back in college and I can still remember how huge their burgers were.  Over the years, their burgers changed from huge to regular-sized.  But still, it's fun to reminisce.  So I ordered...

JYL'S CAFE

I was walking along Pasong Tamo looking for a place to grab lunch when I passed by this quaint shop named Jyl's Cafe.  Satisfying my curiosity, I went inside the cafe and decided to check it out.  On the menu were the usual Filipino dishes like the Tapsilog, Longsilog and the usual fare of pasta, salads and soup.  Of course, they serve coffee- from lattes to ice-blended types.

I ordered Pesto and Tossed Green Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette.

LANGHAP SARAP AT JOLLIBEE

I was on my way home around 2:00am the other day and was hungry.  Since it was not easy to find a 24-hour food place, I stopped by Jollibee at the Shell Station just beside Asia Pacific College.

YAN YAN

Get the sweet biscuit stick, dump it in the creamy milk chocolate and take a bite.  That's how fun eating a Yan Yan is.  I got tired of eating chocolate-covered biscuits like Knick Knacks and Choco Knots that I decided to get something more fun to eat, like dipping a biscuit in milk chocolate.

That's why I grabbed Meiji's Yan Yan.

When I opened the pack, I saw that their biscuits have words and phrases for me to read.  Wow, they've made their product fancier.  I like the fact that children can not only enjoy their treats but they can also get to practice their reading by just looking at the phrases on the biscuit.  Never mind making sense of the phrases.

HAVE YOU SEEN A THAI IN A BOX?

The last time I ate at Thai In A Box (T.I.B.) was 3 years ago.  So I thought of paying T.I.B. a visit.

GO BLACK, GOYA DARK MINT

At first, I couldn't believe it.  Dark Mint Chocolates from Goya?  Wow.  They're definitely going classier.  I love dark chocolates with mint, in fact, one of my to-die-for dark chocolate with mint is Nestle's After Eights.  I was so excited when I saw one of my favorite local brands go dark choco loco.   I almost ripped the package apart with excitement but restrained myself because I know I had to take pictures of my newest find to share with my Tipidmeals friends.
