At first, I couldn't believe it. Dark Mint Chocolates from Goya? Wow. They're definitely going classier. I love dark chocolates with mint, in fact, one of my to-die-for dark chocolate with mint is Nestle's After Eights. I was so excited when I saw one of my favorite local brands go dark choco loco. I almost ripped the package apart with excitement but restrained myself because I know I had to take pictures of my newest find to share with my Tipidmeals friends.
Opening a box of Goya Dark Mint was fun. Once you've opened the box, you'll see a gold foil containing the dark chocolates. After you've ripped the foil open, you'll be surprised to see a tray with the dark mint nuggets.
I popped one Goya Dark Mint in the mouth and I instantly felt the mint taste + sensation explode in my mouth. The dark chocolate was mild and not as strong as Meiji's Black Chocolate. It would've been a lot of fun if they've incorporated more cocoa in the chocolate to get that bittersweet taste. But, it's alright. I think Goya still did a good job with this one.
The cost? ...Php30.00. (I bought it in 7-11 but I think it's a lot cheaper in the supermarket.)
Try it.

I've been consuming Goya Dark Mint for about two months now (but only got to blog about it recently) and I agree with you that Goya did a good job with this one. :)

Goya has also released a Goya Nuggets pack - Dark Chocolate flavor. It's about 10 pcs per pack. I bought it at P12.75 at the grocery.
Totally addicting!

I love Goya... specially Goya with almond nuts. That is the only reason why I have a will to go in the groceries and buy my needs. Thanks for this post. Now I know what is the new in Goya.
