I was at the Market! Market! checking out some fresh produce when I thought on checking out this food stall that I often see at the corner, just beside Lutong Pinoy ni Aling Nene. It was perfect timing because I was craving for roast chicken. So I decided to buy lunch from Bugong Roast Chicken.

Just like Pretzel's Choco Knots and Milky Knots, I missed eating Delfi's Knick Knacks. So I grabbed a bunch on the supermarket shelf while doing my weekly grocery shopping.

I love chilies. I love spicy dishes. That's why I snatched me a pack of Lucky Me's Extra Hot Pancit Canton when I visited the supermarket. I want to know how HOT is extra hot.
When I got home, I opened the pack, boiled some water, dumped the noodles in the water and mixed all the spices as well as flavorings into the drained noodles for some extra hot dinner.

I was busy with work the other day that I never got the chance to take even a short 15-minute break and grab a bite. Good thing, our pantry was selling these mini cup cakes. Since I've been eating Inipit every time I want a light snack, I want to try other Lemon Square goodies. So I bought Lemon Square's Cheese Cake.

You guessed right. I was in RCBC Tower area again and as far as I can recall, my last tipid meal experience was in Binalot. Looking for more tipid meals, I discovered World Topps.
The cashier/wait staff gave me the menu as soon as I got settled on their comfy couch. I noticed that World Topps' menu was so full of different dishes from different parts of the globe. Their tag line was "Home of the World's Famous Rice Toppings". The tag line got me more curious about their food. So I didn't waste my time and ordered 2 dishes right away.

All I've ever tried in Hen Lin was their Siomai. So I went to one of their branches along Salcedo Street in Makati City to try their tipid meals.

I'm always on a lookout for local food houses. Goodah!!! and SEx are the most popular in my area but I also want to know what the other food houses along Dona Soledad Avenue in Betterliving Paranaque has to offer. That curiosity led me to Igan's Food Pares Atbp. which is just beside Second Bite.
I noticed that they offer tipid meals with tipid prices. So I got myself some Chicken Curry and Lechon Kawali.

Since I've been frequenting RCBC Tower in Makati City, I thought I'd scout for more tipid meals in the area. I found Binalot. I have been going to Binalot's other branches since 2005. I like the concept of using banana leaves as plates because there's no need to use plastic or styro as containers therefore making it more friendly to the environment. Oh, by the way, tomorrow is Earth Day.
As soon as I hit the counter, I ordered and as usual, had a great time looking at the names of their dishes on the menu. They have names such as Adobonanza, Tugue-ther Again and a lot more.

Inihaw na Baboy- Php89.00

I was in the RCBC Tower in Makati City the other day. Since it was almost 6pm, I decided to have an early dinner at Grub Club.
At first glance, one wouldn't think that they offer tipid meals. Maybe it's because they have excellent-sounding dishes such as Pesto Cream Fish Fillet, Shitake Tofu Rice, Teriyaki Chicken Fillet, etc. But when I looked at their menu and at the corresponding prices of their dishes, it brought smile to my face.

Spicy Beef and Basil (served with Cilantro Rice)- Php145.00

I went to the newly-renovated Cash 'N Carry in Makati City because 1) I was intrigued on how the new building looks like and 2) I might find some good tipid meals in the area.
When I got to Cash 'N Carry on a scorching afternoon, I finally saw the building which was like a small Virra Mall in Greenhills, San Juan. The most part of their ground floor was their supermarket and the rest were filled with restaurants and tiangge. I learned that they have a food court so I went up on the 2nd level. I even saw Bonnie's BBQ Grill at the food court. But since I'd like to get some Pinoy dishes, I went to Baliwag Lechon Manok Atbp.
I never knew that Baliwag, which is mostly known for their roasted chicken and pork cracklings, has ventured into serving full Pinoy entrees. Naturally, I got curious and so I ordered my lunch from Baliwag. I got their tipid meals.

There's a PTT Gasoline Station along Osmena Highway and there used to be a Goodah!!! food house just behind the gas station. But when I passed by the same gas station and looked for Goodah!!!, I saw a different food house instead. I saw JAPOK! Ang Japanese Food na Patok for every Juan.
Seeing the flaming red signage of this local food house offering affordable Japanese food got me excited. You see, I love Japanese food because of it's simple, delightful, fresh, straightforward and no-frills flavor. That's why I was in high hopes when I entered Japok!
I saw how price-friendly their dishes were, so I ordered away.
First stop was the California Maki.

If you'll attempt to go out around 12 noon, you will literally melt from the heat of the burning sun. Summer is not going away any time soon. That's why I grabbed a refreshing and fresh Mango Shake from The Mango Farm when I visited the new Cash 'N Carry in Makati.

I am a dark chocolate lover. Well, there are times when I'd crave for either Flat Tops or Curly Tops but I'd always pick dark chocolates anytime. Since most of the excellent-tasting dark chocolates are expensive, I'd go for the next best affordable thing. And that's Meiji's Black Chocolate.

I just learned that Luk Yuen already turned 25. I remember being a frequent diner of this Chinese restaurant at their Glorietta 2 branch. Since that unfateful Glorietta 2 bombing, I've missed Luk Yuen. That's why I visited their branch in Paseo de Magallanes.
When the wait staff handed me their menu, I noticed that it was different from the menu that I've gotten used to. But as soon as I turned to page 1 of the menu, I felt at home right away because the dishes that I've grown accustomed to are still part of their line up. So, I ordered away.

Roasted Duck- Php240.00

Whenever I'm on the road and feeling hungry but can't stop for a proper meal, I would always reach inside my bag and pull out one of my best friends- Lemon Square's Custard Inipit. These are tiny rectangular cakes with a custard filling in the middle and sprinkled with sugar on top. Inipit's taste is just pure sweet and simple.

It has been ages since I last went to Food Choices in Glorietta 4 in Ayala Center, Makati City. Some of the food stalls that I often buy food from weren't there anymore. But Cucina is still standing. So I got in line and ordered away.

Before going home last night, my friends and I went straight to this little pizza place and ordered a box of their delicious pizza. The thing that I love about Brooklyn Pizza is the fact that they allow their customers to buy their pizza in slices. They also offer Half & Half which means 4 slices will be in one flavor and the other 4 slices will be in another flavor. They also have 4 Quarters wherein you can buy a box of pizza with 4 different flavors. For pizza lovers, Brooklyn Pizza is often compared to Yellow Cab Pizza's taste. As for me, it wouldn't hurt to love both. *grin*

I was in Glorietta the other day doing some important errands. It was almost dinner time so I thought of grabbing dinner at The Soup Kitchen in the building's 2nd Level. The Soup Kitchen is just beside Chicken Bacolod and near Yellow Cab Pizza. Since I want to have a light dinner, I went for the soup and my friend went for the sandwich.
