STREET FOOD SPECIAL #1: BETAMAX
I know that we're now in the DVD and Blue Ray generation but good news to everyone...Betamax is still very much alive! Now what is Betamax doing in a food blog? Well, it's another name for Chicken Blood. Betamax is a famous Filipino street food that sells for Php3.00 a stick. Now, don't be grossed out because they are also good for our body.
Experts on nutrition say that chicken blood, like animal liver, is rich in iron, which is very good for the development of the brain. Since we can only absorb 5% of the iron that we need from vegetables and fruits, blood and animal liver are also important sources of iron.

I'm impressed. I don't know of too many people, women for that matter (no offense), who eat street foods. Lalo na't kagaya nitong betamax.
