DIZON FARMS' FRESH FRUIT SHAKES

Summer is just around the corner and the last time I went out, I can already feel the summer coming.  My goodness, it was hot the other day.  So I got myself some nice, fresh, sweet, nutritional and refreshing fruit shakes from Dizon Farms.

PURE GOLD SHAWARMA

I visited our neighborhood supermarket, Pure Gold, and saw this Shawarma stall with no name.  Yep, it was weird because the stall was and is (up to this day) nameless.  Therefore, I'm calling it the Pure Gold Shawarma.

ATC AUTHENTIC JAPANESE CORN

I was at the cashier in the supermarket when I caught sight of this stall named ATC Authentic Japanese Corn.  The rich yellow color of the steamed corn on the cob was enough for me to salivate.  As soon as I was finished paying my groceries, I headed straight to ATC Authentic Japanese Corn's stall.

TONY'S BIBINGKA

The last time I ate Bibingka was almost a month ago.  I bought a box of Bibingkinitan because I couldn't resist those cute little rice cakes.  I was craving for dessert after dinner at Bacolod Chicken Inasal and that's when I caught site of Tony's Bibingka.

BACOLOD CHICKEN INASAL

I had a long day, so I went to Metrowalk, Ortigas and grabbed a much needed dinner in Bacolod Chicken Inasal.  Just a few days ago, I was in Chicken Bacolod but that didn't stop me from eating Inasal again.  I guess you can't have too many chicken.

Bacolod Chicken Inasal is just beside Icebergs.  Since it was a weekend, the restaurant was close to being jam-packed with people.  Nevertheless, I dashed inside to save me a table.

I ordered chicken, of course!

HEN LIN SIOMAI

A friend paid me a visit and brought a pack of Hen Lin Pork Siomai.  I love Hen Lin's Siomai because they're flavorful and meaty.  Of course, I've tasted better Pork Siomai but Hen Lin still sells good "fast food" siomai for me.

SO GOODAH!

I love their Ribsi but too bad it wasn't available when I went to Goodah!!!  But then, everything in Goodah!!! is really good ah, so I still grabbed a table and ordered away.

LUTONG PINOY NI ALING NENE

While checking out all the food stalls in front of the mall, I stumbled upon this All-Filipino cuisine stall.  I got intrigued about the quality of the food when I saw quite a long queue of diners ordering from that stall.  I looked at the name and it says "Lutong Pinoy ni Aling Nene".

As soon as I saw the name, I lined up and got myself 2 dishes.

FOOD CHANNEL SHAWARMA

I was looking for something to munch on but I wasn't in the mood for any Pinoy snacks.  Then, I saw a stall named Food Channel that displayed the word Shawarma in huge bold letters.  I suddenly had the mood for a nice Beef Shawarma.

RED PANDA

Where to eat?  Where to eat?  That's the usual question I ask myself.  Then I remembered this Chinese fast food near Chowking that I often see along Dona Soledad Avenue in Betterliving Paranaque.  So I went in and tried Red Panda.

I love Jamaican Pattie.  That's why I bought lots when I saw a stall on my way to the supermarket and brought them all home.

CHICKEN BACOLOD

There are so many restaurants now offering the famous "Bacolod" Chicken.  So it was just fitting that I try one of these restaurants.  I went to Chicken Bacolod to see what tipid meals they can offer.

SLICE N' DICE

I was on my way to a friend's party somewhere in E. Rodriguez Avenue in Quezon City but decided to stop for a nice dinner first.  I was looking for a restaurant called In N' Out but found Slice N' Dice instead.  It turned out that they only changed their name but the menu, the price and the service are still the same.

YOO-HOO!

I have been going to this local food house numerous times already.  The very first Yoo-hoo Bar-B-Que i visited was the one in Metrowalk, Ortigas and i've been eating there every time i go to Metrowalk.  I haven't been to their new branches though- i saw 2 Yoo-hoo's in Makati City.  This is what tipid meals are all about- good roasted meat bursting with good flavors and with affordable prices.

CAKES AT BASTILLE CAFE

I was craving for desserts but I really don't want to go far so I thought of dropping by Bastille Cafe.  I've now become a regular patron of Bastille Cafe ever since a friend and I discovered their cakes and coffee last December.

This time, I got their Black Forest and their Capuccino cakes.

STREET FOOD SPECIAL #3: WALKMAN

In English, Pig Ears.  Tenga ng Baboy is also one of the famous street foods along with IUD and Betamax. As long as they're grilled well, these pig ears really taste good.  If not for it's high cholesterol content, I'd buy more considering that 1 stick can only cost me Php10.00.

STREET FOOD SPECIAL #2: IUD

No, don't get me wrong.  We do not eat contraceptive devices.  It's just the name we call our grilled Chicken Intestines or Isaw.  You read right.  Chicken Intestines.  These yummy street food can be bought for Php5.00 per stick.  Just make sure to have it very well done.

STREET FOOD SPECIAL #1: BETAMAX

I know that we're now in the DVD and Blue Ray generation but good news to everyone...Betamax is still very much alive!  Now what is Betamax doing in a food blog?  Well, it's another name for Chicken Blood.  Betamax is a famous Filipino street food that sells for Php3.00 a stick.  Now, don't be grossed out because they are also good for our body.

THE KING OF CHOW

I found myself in Chowking again.  The last time MaNins and I went to Chowking, I only ate Halo-Halo.  This time, I had a full tipid meal.
